“Connecting Dots”: Orientation Program for Freshers 2025

The transition from school to college marks a pivotal phase in every student’s life. To ensure a smooth and informed beginning, our institution organized a comprehensive three-day orientation program — “Connecting Dots” — from 28th to 30thJuly 2025 for the newly admitted BCA and BBA students. The program aimed to introduce the students to academic life, campus culture, and the support systems in place for their holistic development.
Day 1: Combined Program for BCA and BBA Students
The day commenced with the formal inauguration of the program with the traditional lamp lighting and Saraswati Vandana, symbolizing the pursuit of knowledge and wisdom according to our tradition and beliefs.A motivating address was delivered by the Principal Dr. Mazid Hussain Khan, introducing the SVA Group and elaborating on the college’s vision, values, and commitment to student success. Key administrative departments, including the Admin by Ms. Nandini Sharma and Library by Mrs. Hema Gaur, were introduced through engaging presentations to familiarize students with essential support services.
A short activity session(quiz and introduction)helped break the ice and ease the students into their new environment. This was followed by a detailed briefing on college rules, regulations, the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and the academic calendar, setting clear expectations for the upcoming academic journey.
Day 2: Combined Program for BCA and BBA Students
The second day focused on academics, professional development, and co-curricular engagement. Our Vice Principal Mrs. Ridhi Jajoo delivered an insightful address on the academic culture and college system, emphasizing discipline, integrity, and participation.A highly interactive session was conducted by the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) Mr. Subhash Pareek who explained the functioning and significance of the Training and Placement Cell, preparing students for long-term career goals from the outset.
An Ice-breaking session was again held to boost bonding among students, after which the spotlight shifted to the college’s various student clubs. Representatives from clubs like Indradhanush, Mrs. Priya Sharma ; Tejas & NSS, Ms. Sudha Pancholi and the Business Club Mr. Mazid Hussain Khan introduced their objectives and activities, encouraging students to engage beyond academics and explore their talents and interests.
